As Brazil defeated Germany by winning a Gold medal in a penalty shoot out a Olympic games, Rio 2016, Neymar scored the firm goal, busting into tears. He fell on his Knees and cried, as he celebrated the Victory.
Now, apart from the victory and the celebrations, there is another thing that caught the attention of everyone watching it. As he celebrated, there was something noticeable. It was a Headband that read “100% Jesus” that he wore on his head, after his Victory.
It was not the first time the footballer was seen with this headband, in fact, it goes way back to his childhood. Neymar always wore this headband which read “100% Jesus” and went to church in Sao Vincent. He always wore that headband as an appreciation to God for providing a football pitch for his home based club.
In 2012, Neymar wore this headband after his former team secured the Sao Paulo State Championship. He also celebrated the Champions League, in 2015, with this headband that read “100% Jesus”.
